We are in the process of integrating all the imaging sources in the UBHT NHS Trust with a view to allow deployment of images and reports over digital networks as and when needed by clinicians & surgeons. These images could be called up by multidisciplinary medical teams on their screens for clinical care management and discussions.
This systems integration exercise is well on its way and we have already linked up Thoracic Surgery Clinics and 2/6 Chest Outpatient Departments.
We have also, in place an all digital Children's Hospital, images from the various imaging sources can be viewed from any enabled, networked PC Monitor/Screen or network point within the Trust.
